We are glade to share that National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS)  Faculty has visited Dimension Research Head Office on Monday, 30th October 2023.

The participants from NUMS included Lieutenant General Dr. Wasim Alamgir – VC NUMS, Major General Dr. Saleem Ahmed Khan – Exec Dir. NUMS (SAK), Major Dr. Zeeshan, Dr. Lala Rukh – HOD CTU NUMS and the participants from Dimension Research included Khurram Zaki Khan – CEO, Sadaf Khurram – Director, Muhammad Saqib Siddiqui – Project & Marketing Manager, Syed Mohammad Raza – Project Manager.

The session started from Recitation of The Holy Quran, prayer for the Ghaza victims and NUMS and DR team introduction. The C.E.O of the DR Khurram Zaki Khan welcomed all participants and thanked them for their presence and valuable time.

Major General Dr. Saleem Ahmed Khan shared a detailed overview presentation about current and future of NUMS highlighted the mile stones achieved by NUMS.

Khurram Zaki Khan presented a detail profile along with details about the services and partners of DR including clinical research, pharmacovigilance, patient assistance services etc. He mentioned DR experience, international publication was also shared with the NUMS team and DR expertise & their efforts to promote PhV and development of one window operation of Pharmacovigilance spread, scope of , experience and areas of collaboration with NUMS.

He also mentioned DR success stories specially about mass awareness drives, implementation of PhV / ADR reporting at DUHS  OJHA back in 2007. Now DRAP has rule and guidelines implemented for all pharmaceuticals and institutional as well as medical professionals reporting . Even common public could also report on DRAP portal any ADR directly.

He highlighted the importance of patient support programs in Pakistan and informed how over 31,000 economical challenging patients got more than PKR 4.1 billion through these Patients Support Programs managed by Dimension Research.

Lieutenant General Dr. Wasim Alamgir has shown keen interest in the PhV / ADR reporting system and collaboration options in research.
