DRAP CRO License for Dimension Research

As part of Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan (DRAP) efforts to streamline and develop clinical research activities on ethical and professional grounds.

DRAP has rolled out Biostudy Rules 2017 that will serve as basis of conducting clinical research in Pakistan. In line with these guidelines DRAP Pharmacy Services department has initiated an extensive activity of inspecting all the Institutes, Laboratories and CROs currently involved in clinical research activities in Pakistan and like to pursue these activities in future as well.

On these lines DRAP has inspected Dimension Research personnel and facility in Oct 2019. Three high profile inspectors (two from academic institutes and one from DRAP) has visited our premises and perform a detailed inspection of our SOPs, review related documents, Interview our personnel and inspect our facility. After this detailed inspection they have prepared their report and submitted for the review of an experts committee at DRAP office Islamabad.

All the inspectors has given positive report about Dimension Research systems, capabilities of their personnel and infrastructure required for the conduct of clinical research development and management  as third party service provider. In the DRAP experts meeting of 3^rd Feb 2020 Dimension Research has been granted license to work as CRO in Pakistan the license was released on 13^th Feb 2020 after all due approvals.

Now Dimension Research is the only CRO of Pakistan who is ISO 9001:2015 certified, member of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and has a license to act as CRO by DRAP.
